Imagine an extraordinary gathering of women awakening to their full potential and acting as powerful and co-creative agents for change. The Sophia Institute’s Women of Wisdom gathering will welcome women from all over the country for a weekend of exploration with evolutionary leaders as we re-imagine our world and lives.
Women world-wide are the largest untapped resource on the planet. The problems we face in our world today will be solved only with the full inclusion of women; the balancing of our masculine and feminine aspects, and the use of feminine wisdom.
We are living in a profound moment in human history. His Holiness the Dalai Lama stunned a sold-out audience at his Peace Summit in Vancouver when he proclaimed, “The world will be saved by the western woman.” Maria Shriver’s conference, “Women, the Architects of Change” drew 24,000 women and was sold out soon after registration opened. The Sophia Institute is drawing participants from all fifty states and eight countries to join us in Charleston, South Carolina. Women are waking to their callings on the deepest level and yearning to be catalysts to create a more sustainable, just, and thriving world.
How can we use our individual gifts and talents to be part of the incredible transformation happening in women’s lives and in the world? How can we deepen our partnerships with men to be effective co-creators of the future? What new pathways and practices will give us access to co-creative ways to foster our full potential? We do this through our own deep work, taking it back to our relationships, communities, and workplaces and forming circles of on-going connection.
