Eliza Ingle

Eliza Ingle is originally from New York and  received her BA in Dance from Middlebury College in Vermont. For 20 years, Eliza was a Professor of Dance at the College of Charleston, specializing in Modern Technique, Dance History, Choreography and Dance Criticism. She has performed and choreographed for The Robert Ivey Ballet, Anonymity Dance Company and Annex Dance Company. She is currently a  freelance dance writer and has been a Spoleto Reviewer for the last 20 years contributing to The Post and Courier, Charleston Magazine and Art Mag and charlestontoday.net. As an educator she loves to share the joy and understanding of dance with her audiences, students and readers. She serves on the Board of Directors for The Sophia Institute, American National Ballet Conservatory and Coker College all in South Carolina. She is married to David Ingle and has three daughters.
