Dr. Lou Ann Daly
As CEO and Co-Founder of the Organization for Life Architecture and Design, Inc. (O! LAD), Dr. Lou Ann Daly is focused on helping clients think, design, and behave in ways that support their highest potential, continuous growth, unique voice, and everyday sanity. As a sociolinguist, she uses linguistic techniques in a uniquely designed process that helps clients to (a) surface thinking patterns that undermine their strengths, (b) clarify their passions, gifts, and priorities, and (c) design their work and lives from a clear center, aligned with strengths and passions.
Dr. Daly coaches C-level executives, emerging leaders, and high potential leaders across a spectrum of industries, Fortune 100s, non-profits, and universities. Clients are usually dealing with some kind of transition from life-stage related issues to learning to use new skills at more senior levels, or leading major strategic initiatives. A sought-after teacher and public speaker, Dr. Daly has delivered a number of public and keynote addresses, most often on leading from the heart, effective use of personal voice, unique challenges and opportunities for women leaders, and how to create desired results in personal, professional, and organizational life with ease.
Dr. Daly holds a BA from Wheaton College and Ph.D. from Georgetown University in sociolinguistics. A former Chair of Communication Arts at Salisbury University in Maryland, she has served on the faculty of the School for Managing and Leading Change and as adjunct faculty at Lesley University School of Management. She also served on Executive Minds for Social Innovation in Boston to bring best practices from business enterprises to the non-profit world, and on both the President’s Commission and Board of Trustees for Wheaton College (MA). She served in different internal leadership and management roles in a global company before starting two entrepreneurial ventures, one of which continues today.
Dr. Daly has published one book, two meditation CDs, and three coaching CDs for women. Her book,Humans Being: Creating your life from the inside out, offers readers a simple framework and exercises to clarify their unique voice, passions, and gifts, and to design lives of meaning, ease and joy. She continues to pursue ways of reaching all who seek their paths and want laser insight into ways to live into their gifts and passions with ease and laughter, and she can often be found laughing with family and friends along the rocks and beaches of Maine and Massachusetts.
